The works in this series are inspired by my garden where I have tried to make the planting friendly for insects and birds. I am a very keen gardener and find a lot of inspiration in the flowers and trees I care for.
Some of these prints document the seasons and show how different the colours and structure are across the year.
Some are prints of plants I particularly like. One (so far) is of wildlife in my garden.

This is my garden in February this year. In winter the shapes of the leaves are particularly inspiring without the distraction of colourful flowers the garden becomes a place of sculptural plants and subtle shades of green and brown.

This is a Scarlet Tiger Moth which rested on my lawn for quite a while, enough time for me to do some sketches and photos. It was so beautiful I thought it would make a lovely print, so here it is resting on the grass, clover and bugle of my garden lawn.

This is a fungus which appeared in my garden in the Autumn. I thought it was very beautiful but it has a dark side as it is Honey Fungus, not a gardeners friend as it can damage nearby trees. Pictured as it grew with ferns and Iris Foetida.
