Milton Keynes is built on a grid system, with all the main roads being either H (horizontal or V (vertical). It also has a system of cycle and pedestrian paths, called The Redway, and has canal systems running through it. This means there are a lot of bridges and underpasses which I think is why I have made quite a few prints based on these under and over architectural features.

Milton Keynes
This is a beautiful space in Milton Keynes, I have visited often and made several prints and drawings inspired by its carefully thought out and calm vistas.

My mum had several different small collections of things - eggs were one collection. She had them proudly displayed on a small wooden shelf cabinet.
Mum is no longer with us, so now her eggs live with me, and I have been looking at them for quite a while thinking they would make an interesting series of work.
I was sent a sketchbook by Printmakers Council to use in preparation for their exhibition’Thinking for printing’. So I used it as a kind of scrapbook of ideas for my eggs. Objet not Faberge 2 has been selected for the exhibition which is at The Bankside Gallery, London.
